Rice Water Rinse for Healthy Hair and Clear Skin

Rice Water Rinse:

Been doing this for a while now and it works like a mothafuckin miracle. I go for the 3-day fermentation now days, you will know what I'm talking about later in in this post, but you don't have to do that, it works just fine with the overnight method also. I just forget mine sometimes. Also, about the 3-day fermentation, make sure you rinse well, make sure you have no cuts or sours and make sure you wash hair, not just rinse. Well, here it is.

  1. Rinse rice once then fill with water until the rice is covered.
  2. Let it come to a boil and stop at the first sign of boiling. pour rice into container, ceramic or some type of darkened glass is preferred but if all else fails use a plastic container. No metal containers.
  3. Cover and set in a cool, dry place for 1 hour or up to 3 days for fermentation. Said setting should be at least room temp but no more than 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
  4. Once the water has set for the preferred amount of time, note I said preferred because this water will start to smell sour and I'm not sure how comfortable some are about using such water on their body/hair, remove from hiding and boil. Boiling will stop the fermentation and kill off any harmful bacteria that may have grown over time.
  5. Let the water cool to a manageable temperature and place in a container for use. Once again, this said container should not be metal. The container of choice is up to you in accordance to how and where you wish to use the rinse. I put mine in a spray bottle because I plan to use it all over my body, not just on my hair.
  6. Massage scalp for at least 5 minutes with the rinse and let the rinse sit in your hair for an hour with a shower cap/plastic grocery bag on your hair.
  7. Rinse yourself off with cool water, as cool as you can stand it, to seal the effects.
  8. After making and first use, you can put the remaining water in the refrigerator for a week up to 2 weeks depending on your refrigerator.

I would post the benefits of rice water but it's all over the internet, look it up. Lastly, not really, there is a less time-consuming method but with the as usual with the easier way is less potent and less beneficial. But, if you're in a hurry you can just set the rice in a clear glass jar outside, in water of course. Let it set for about an hour and pour the water out into a container and uses as usual. Well that's it. Peace out!

P.S. Don't use parboiled rice. Only brown, balsamic and white rice. Don't uses rice wine, although it too can be good for your hair, it burns like finding your boyfriend in bed with your best friend, if it gets in your eyes and it has yeast in it. Yeah. I'm out forreal now. Peace!
